Beyond my "thinking"/"own imagination" and any thought Explanation: You could say "thinking" probably but I personally don't think it sounds very attractive in English, if anything it sounds clumsy to me. Therefore, I would go with a synonym for this, but the choice is yours. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day 23 hrs (2018-12-24 11:24:04 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- How about "the night's radiance lingers"? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day 23 hrs (2018-12-24 11:27:22 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Other synonyms, if you don't like "musings" or "imagination" would be: "sober reflection" / "personal reflection" (here I think that a qualifying adjective avoids any potential confusion with physical reflection (as in a mirror). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 days 2 mins (2018-12-24 11:32:27 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Note: Beyond "my own reflection" would not work IMO, which is the reason for my qualifying-adjectives, because "own reflection" would normally allude to to looking in a mirror and seeing "ones own reflection" - so if you do use reflection, be careful. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 days 3 mins (2018-12-24 11:33:51 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- ...that is to say that "adj + reflection" is better to avoid suggestion of a mirror-reflection. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 days 4 mins (2018-12-24 11:34:53 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Another option is "reasoning": "Beyond my thoughts and any other reasoning".... |
