Spanish term or phrase: Pajaro, maldito pajaro!
I would like to know the best translation of this phrase from American English into Dominican Spanish.

It's a translation of a phone conversation between two Dominican People living in The US.

Here is the full sentence:

¿Tu no ves lo que esta haciendo? ¿que me estas, ocultando?

Pájaro, Tu eres un pájaro, tu eres el diablo! Tu eres un maldito pájaro [She insults her husband]

Spanish speaker 1: Tu estas muy mal y mira que niño tan lindo y yo soy un pájaro.

Female Spanish speaker: Maldito pájaro. Tu eres un maldito pájaro. Voy a dejar este apartamento. Pendiente solo del maldito "income tax! Es lo que yo merezco!

Spanish speaker: ¿y que es lo que tu te mereces?

English translation:You fucking fag!
Explanation:
Or "faggot" if you prefer. In other varieties of English a different word would be used. This is what "pájaro" actually means in the Dominican Republic:

"pájaro [...]
6. m. coloq. C. Rica, Cuba, Ec., Pan. y R. Dom. Hombre homosexual."

"pájaro
I. 1. m. EU, CR, Pa, Cu, RD, Ec. Hombre homosexual. pop + cult → espon ^ desp.
2. CR, Cu, RD; Pa, pop + cult → espon. Hombre afeminado. desp."
http://lema.rae.es/damer/?key=pájaro

Of course it could be just a generic insult, in which case you could use all sorts of things, but she could be specifically impugning his masculinity, and it might be better to reflect that.

agree  Darius Saczuk: It does mean, "faggot" - extended periods of residence in the DR + plus everyday contact with Dominican slang through my fiiancée and friends.
