The company operates/carries out business in the beauty segment Explanation: Sugestão. Nesse contexto eu suprimiria a tradução de "estética" porque beauty já incluiria "estética". |

The company runs business in the esthetic and beauty segment Explanation: My suggestion. or "The company runs an esthetic and beauty business". If it is US English esthetic is ok; if it is for UK it should be aesthetic. |

beauty and personal care industry Explanation: Segment is generally a smaller subset of an industry, often based on a customer profile. So beauty and personal care is the industry, and something like "clean beauty consumers" would be a segment of that market. In the US at least, we don't use "esthetic" much in this context, although sometimes a beauty technician is called an esthetician. I strongly prefer "personal care" and I've reversed the order of the two in English because it sounds more natural. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/market-segment.asp https://www.grandviewresearch.com/industry-analysis/us-personal-care-products-market |
