Note 1: the title should be read: Hammergerüst 600 003 for Dehn+Söhne as it is not manufactured by Dehn+Söhne, but from other companies for driving earthing rods from Dehn+Söhne.

Note 2: Dehn+Söhne is Germans most important supplier for lightning arrester systems. As electrical engineer I attended a certified course for planning and lay out of such systems organized by Dehn+Söhne approx. 20 years ago.

Again: driving rigs and drivers are supplied by external companies.

Earth rod hammer
Part No. Description (”)Weight Each (kg)
HM005 Atlas Copco Cobra TT petrol driven hammer 24
HM010 Earth rod adapter (Suitable for 5 ⁄8” earth rods) 3
– For projects where hand driving is uneconomical owing to a large quantity of rods or unfavourable ground conditions, the earth rod hammer can drastically cut installation times

Hammer rig
Part No. Description Weight Each (kg)
HM105 Hammer rig 196.35
– By mounting a hammer onto a rig, longer lengths of earth rods can be driven. For projects where large quantities of rods are required cost savings can be achieved, for example, by using single 8 ft rods rather than 2 x 4 ft rods which would need couplers etc. Installation time is also considerably reduced. Please specify length of rod to be driven and type of hammer to be used when ordering

Thanks to Kim, who found the German-English instruction manual for the "Hammergerüst". This is certainly a translation from German to English and must be used warily, considering the fact that most translators in Germany are not native English speakers. Let’s now check, whether the used translation "hammer frame" is correct or better or not:

The Goggle image search shows a lot of different images for "hammer frame" from dowel pins to bicycle frame, but no item fitting the subject:
https://www.google.de/search?q="hammer frame"&lr=&hl=de&sour...

The same for "hammer rig" looks quite different:
The first picture shows such item:
Alcomet Hammer Rig | Alcomet
A Hammer Rig for earth rod driving
https://www.google.de/imgres?imgurl=https://www.alcomet.net/...

The 4th image contains:

Hammer Drilling Rigs: K40 Short Mast - Foundation & Micro Piling
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1u3uQuJSz6A

http://www.hammerdrillingrigs.com/

Then a sketch:
Drop hammer rig (Not to Scale)
https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Drop-hammer-rig-Not-to-S...

A pile driver is a device used to drive piles (poles) into soil to provide foundation support for buildings or other structures. The term is also used in reference to members of the construction crew that work with pile-driving rigs.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pile_driver

etc. and there are much more genuine sources. So we can be sure that "hammer rig” is correct and "hammer frame" is Germish invented by a German translator, not knowing the correct term.
See also direct references for "hammer rigs” as well:
https://www.google.de/search?lr=&hl=de&as_qdr=all&biw=1119&b...

Another check: What is contained in English dictionaries?
No "hammer" rig or "hammer frame" contained in Etymonline.com, The free Dictionary, Oxford Dictionary, or Merriam-Webster.
But if you enter "rig” or "frame" as terms into
https://www.etymonline.com/search?q=rig
https://www.thefreedictionary.com/rig
https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/rig
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/rig
you can compare the different definition resulting in another confirmation for "rig" (too much as to cite on this place)

neutral  Darin Fitzpatrick: The examples of triphammers and hammer mill are not the same type of application. The term '-gerüst' here seems to refer to the support system *without* the hammer, as various types of hammers can be mounted on it.

But the "hammer frame" part should still be possible/acceptable/correct ??
