French term or phrase: test de l'écart de l’ordonnée à l’origine
I am a medical translator translating a pharmaceutical document relating to dissolution testing ie measuring rate of release of the active elements in the drug. I'm not sure about this statistical expression which appears twice:

Test de l’écart de l’ordonnée à l’origine :
-test de student au risque 1% ou 5%
- ou écart de l’ordonnée à l’origine à 100%≤2%.

is this 'deviation of the intercept test'?

any help appreciated!

In plain English, the test is about ascertaining whether or not the difference between the estimation of the intercept and its expected value is statistically significant.

'L'écart de l’ordonnée à l’origine' is the difference mentioned in the above paragraph.
