Greek term or phrase: αγγειακό εγκεφαλικό επεισόδιο
What is the medical term in English for this?
εγκεφαλικό επεισόδιο seems to be translated as stroke, but how would one translate αγγειακό here?

I currently use vascular stroke but it sounds wrong. Is "cerebral stroke" accurate?

Brain/cerebral ischemia

Explanation:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ischemia#Brain

Ischemia is a vascular disease involving an interruption in the arterial blood supply to a tissue, organ, or extremity that, if untreated, can lead to tissue death. It can be caused by embolism, thrombosis of an atherosclerotic artery, or trauma. Venous problems like venous outflow obstruction and low-flow states can cause acute arterial ischemia. An aneurysm is one of the most frequent causes of acute arterial ischemia. Other causes are heart conditions including myocardial infarction, mitral valve disease, chronic atrial fibrillation, cardiomyopathies, and prosthesis, in all of which thrombi are prone to develop.[5]
Occlusion.
To all intents and purposes what is commonly known as 'Stroke' BUT, as you will see, there are different causes of a Stroke, with each cause and a name.

A 'haematoma' for example, which can be oozing or puncture of small Cerebral Blood vessel, is an 'Ischemic Attack), which is 'αγγειακό εγκεφαλικό επεισόδιο', but that could be outside the brain( Sub-dural), and is not a Stroke, which is associated with embolism(thrombosis).

TAKE YOUR PICK!!!
Last year I personally had a, ' αγγειακό εγκεφαλικό επεισόδιο'. Ambulance took me strait to the TIA (Transient Ischaemic Attack) clinic of King's College Hospital.
where ALL Stroke sufferers are first admitted. The Clinic is not called CVA clinic.
For other uses, see Stroke (disambiguation).

CT scan of the brain showing a prior right-sided*** ischemic*** stroke from blockage of an artery. Changes on a CT may not be visible early on.[1]
Specialty Neurology
Symptoms Inability to move or feel on one side of the body, problems understanding or speaking, dizziness, loss of vision to one side[2][3]
Complications Persistent vegetative state[4]
Causes Ischemic (blockage) and hemorrhagic (bleeding)[5]
Risk factors High blood pressure, tobacco smoking, obesity, high blood cholesterol, diabetes mellitus, previous TIA, atrial fibrillation[2][6]
Diagnostic method Based on symptoms with medical imaging typically used to rule out bleeding[7][8]

A stroke is a medical condition in which poor blood flow to the brain results in cell death.[5] There are two main types of stroke: ischemic, due to lack of blood flow, and hemorrhagic, due to bleeding.[5] They result in part of the brain not functioning properly.[5] Signs and symptoms of a stroke may include an inability to move or feel on one side of the body, problems understanding or speaking, dizziness, or loss of vision to one side.[2][3] Signs and symptoms often appear soon after the stroke has occurred.[3] If symptoms last less than one or two hours it is known as a*** transient ischemic attack*** (TIA) or mini-stroke.[3] A hemorrhagic stroke may also be associated with a severe headache.[3] The symptoms of a stroke can be permanent.[5]
