Es handelt sich um einen Text über einen Hörgerätebatteriehersteller. Ich finde nichts zu "year-on-year investments", bin zwar geneigt, das als jährliche Investitionen zu interpretieren, bin mir aber nicht sicher. Kennt jemand diesen Begriff?

agree  Steffen Walter: Hier wahrscheinlich wirklich "kontinuierlich" oder "fortlaufend". In anderem Zusammenhang bezeichnet "year on year" (YOY) meist einen Vergleich mit dem jeweiligen Vorjahr(eszeitraum). / Auch Andreas Formulierung weiter unten trifft es in diesem Fall.

agree  Thomas Pfann: Es wird betont, dass jedes Jahr wirklich mehrere Millionen investiert werden (im Gegensatz zu Investitionen, die zwar jährlich gemacht werden, sicher aber erst im Lauf der Jahre zu mehreren Millionen angehäuft haben). Also 'Jahr für Jahr' oder 'jährlich'.
