In order to gain insights on how youth perceive online extremist narratives, focus group data collection was used. A total of nine focus groups in four towns were conducted. The target group was youth aged 18 to 28, and in all 63 participants took part. Selected and content of several websites known to post extremist narratives was analysed, resulting in the identification of several key discourses around which extremist rhetoric is built.
