Mineral Radiance Cleansing Gel
Fresh Skin Sparkler. This sulphate-free facial cleanser purifies your skin and gently neutralizes external irritants for glowing, calmed, and fresh skin. Powered by OsmoGuardTM, it protects your skin from urban pollution. Containing Jojoba seed extract *derived* Signaline STM, it energizes your skin, while cleansing - leaving nothing behind, just sparkling-fresh radiance.

Containing Jojoba seed extract *derived* Signaline STM - I think this is just a mistranslation from German and Hebrew. I have checked in 5-6 different languages and there is no information in any website of German origin that this misterious and patented Signaline TM" is made from jojoba extract.

Thsi is the usual marketing blah-blah:

"The Dead Sea OsmoterTM Concentrate from Ahava for the daily face care regime is based on the latest skincare technologies coupled with using natural active ingredients sourced from the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea OsmoterTM Concentrate from Ahava is paraben-free, doesn’t contain any artificial colouring, fragrance or preservatives and is allergy-tested."

"contain hydrating and nourishing plant extracts from the region around the Dead Sea"

"Mineral Botanic Body care by Ahava
With Mineral Botanic from Ahava women cleanse and nourish their whole body with the nourishing active ingredients of selected plant extracts. The body care range contains extracts of Lavender & Honeysuckle, Hibiscus & Fig and of Lotus Flower & Chestnut."

IMHO, the original shall be " Containing Jojoba seed extract COMMA Signaline STM.

Jojoba is a shrub that is grows in dry regions of northern Mexico and the southwestern US. Jojoba oil and wax are produced from the seeds and used for medicine.
In manufacturing, jojoba is used as an ingredient in shampoo; lipstick; makeup; cleansing products; and in face, hand, and body lotions.

Jojoba Farming Outside the United States
The great misconception about jojoba has been that it doesn't require a lot of water. This is only true if one is not striving for consistent production. People living in areas with scarce water resources are often chagrinned to learn that growing jojoba commercially requires a consistent and plentiful supply of water, which must be used judiciously.
Famers are now growing jojoba in Argentina, Israel, Peru and Australia, countries where sufficient water and suitable climate and soil conditions have been located. More recently, growers in Egypt, Tunisia, India and even in China are making a stab at it.
Jojoba acreage planted in Israel and Argentina, primarily from rooted cuttings, began commercial production in the early Nineties. Jojoba grown in Peru began coming to markets in 2003.
In Peru, farmers grow jojoba, literally, in the sand (silica). Without consistent and constant application of water and fertilizer, the plants, according to one grower, would die within weeks.
Foreign jojoba producers learned from the mistakes and disadvantages of their American counterparts. Some of them were able to locate regions, which did not have the extremes of temperature found in Arizona and Southern California. Foreign growers put far more effort into identifying precocious plants, which produced more and better quality seed earlier in their development. The respective governments of Israel and Argentina have provided funding to support jojoba agriculture. Tax incentives, donations from interested expatriate communities, and associations with other in-country agricultural groups with access to capital were just a few of the resources available to growers in the other countries that farmers in the United States have not had.
It is accurate to point out, however, that all jojoba grown in the world today is traceable to jojoba seeds and/or jojoba cuttings originating in North America.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Dear Erzsébet, I suspected that 'derived' is the result of someone from the marketing being especially creative. Now I have a proof thanks to your extensive research in several languages that these 2 ingredients have nothing to do with each other. Thank you so much for your help!
