Ca n'a pas l'air de HPLC mais de chromatographie en phase gazeuse (CG), où le détecteur peut être à ionisation de flamme.
Cf Wikipedia, qui détaille le principe de la CG).
Le "fuel gas" est la phase mobile (qui peut être H2).

La ref en anglais contient "make up gas" et "fuel gas"
