The term "assisted witness," which can precede a formal indictment, may be applied to any person accused by a witness, or whose evidence indicates may have been complicit, acted as perpetrator or as an accomplice in the crimes being examined by the investigative judge.

The status of "assisted witness" is a specifically French invention, with no good near-equivalent that I know of in English. If this is a legal document, I think you need to leave it in French or place the English in inverted commas and give the French and explanation somewhere else. How much you need to try to explain will depend on your context and the purpose of your document.
