Copio todo el párrafo. Me gustaría que me pudieran ayudar traduciendo específicamente los términos "stretched" y "regressive":

Para "stretched" se podría utilizar el verbo "estirar", pero buscaría una paráfrasis de este tipo:

"... a medida que la población envejece y el sistema de pensiones se ve sometido a mayores exigencias / a más tensiones"

Para "regressive" diría algo como: "El actual sistema de pensiones es marcadamente retrógrado/ altamente regresivo"
