Der Ehemann ist **berechtigt zu erklären**, mit dem Sohn XXX drei Wochen Ferien auf eigene Kosten zu verbringen.

Mi risulta un po' strana questa formulazione, non so bene come renderla. Semplicemente come "ha il diritto di dichiarare"?
