Hello all,
This comes from a framework contract for a collaboration between two companies on drone technology. Would solidarité here be referring to joint liability?

Être solidaire does generally refer to being loyal or faithful to another party to whom one has a responsibility, moral and perhaps legal. In this agreement it is clearly being stated that in no way is it to be construed that this agreement forms the basis (or has the quality) of being a separate legal entity. Therefore the term "joint" or "liability" seems to onerous and does not reflect the spirit of this agreement. "Responsible" may be a better word.

neutral  Daryo: It does boil down to not assuming that any kind of "joint liability" was created between these two parties, but your explanation strayed outside of the legal meaning of "solidarité" // "being loyal or faithful" is totally irrelevant here!!!
