It is an English word, by the way, meaning the same as "obtention" in French; more rare, certainly; perhaps obtaining would be sufficient. (Certain scholars would contend that its meaning is more complex than "obtaining".)

As Daryo has suggested. Tell people it's a "limited edition" or "special edition" of the product and they'll pay extra. "Edition market" presumably refers to a study of the market for such "editions" of the champagne: how much demand there would be, how high a price can be charged.

Here's an extreme example:

"To illustrate another angle to the "limited edition" market phenomenon, one of my best friends is in the business of distributing wine internationally. He was taken by news reports that, after they won the NBA title a couple of months ago, the Warriors celebrated by consuming 150 bottles of champagne that had cost $180,000. The average price per bottle, $1,200, seemed extraordinary. [...]
He did a bit of digging and learned that the champagne was in normal-size bottles and was exactly the same vintage that the maker (Moet) sold normally for 50 bucks or whatever per bottle. All that differentiated this champagne was the label - "Limited Edition", "NBA Champions", blah blah blah. For what was nothing more than a special paper label on the same bottle of the same liquid, the mark-up was about 2000%"

1) FR word order is often reversed compared to EN, this is quite likely to have not been correctly reversed in translation, so you need to consider the fact it might be 'market edition'

2) 'edition' is a common 'false friend', as the commonest translation into EN is very often 'publication' / 'publishing' — so you need to bear those possibilities in mind.
That said, without knowing what it actually involves, it's hard to say quite what this budget item may be talking about; you really need to check back with the customer, to enquire what it is actually referring to.

Yes, it is the FR word for 'obtaining' that has simply missed being translated.
