"A prime refers to the main point of contact in a tender process. Prime contracting is a form of procurement in which the client enters into a relationship with a contractor who provides a single point of contact (prime contract) for a supply chain to deliver one or more projects."

Depois deste parágrafo:
Transaction risk – private or public client, new or existing, direct or via prime? e.g. transactions involving charitable or political contributions, the obtaining of licenses and permits, public procurement, high value or projects with many contractors or involvement of intermediaries or agents.
Aparece mais abaixo:
Generally low but may be medium or high for low value-added primes in some territories.
