Revolving account or open account are the meanings of αλληλοχρέος λογαριασμός given by the Λεξικό Λογιστικής του Κων. Κάντζου.

Transphy’s reference to Babiniotis was misleading. He gave Babiniotis’ definition of ‘αλληλοχρέος’, but omitted to mention that Babiniotis also separately defines ‘αλληλοχρέος λογαριασμός’ to mean, ‘σύμβαση συναλλασσόμενων για τη ρύθμιση των αμοιβαίων αξιώσεων τους από τις μεταξύ τους συναλλαγές. ΣΥΝ. ανοικτός/τρεχούμενος λογαριασμός.
Also, the Greek for ‘joint account’ is ‘κοινός λογαριασμός’.

This defines and describes ‘Ανοιχτός Αλληλόχρεος Λογαριασμός’ precisely:

https://www.chaniabank.gr/el/business/loans/capital-loan/aal...

As you will see, it describes what is known as an ‘open revolving account’, in English.

However, it is important to note that an ‘Ανοιχτός Αλληλόχρεος Λογαριασμός’ can exist between any two parties, regardless of whether one of the parties is a bank or not. One can also have an ‘Ανοιχτός Αλληλόχρεος Λογαριασμός’ between two tradesmen or merchants (when it is called ‘an open credit account’ or ‘a revolving credit account) or between a money lender and a tradesman or merchant.

Another example and/or translation of an ‘Αλληλόχρεος Λογαριασμός’ is an overdraft facility. See:

It would appear that Nadia-Anastasia Fahmi, whose opinion I greatly respect, was tempted to describe ‘αλληλοχρέος λογαριασμός’ as being a ‘current account’ – firstly by adding a Neutral comment to my answer and then by deleting it. A ‘current account’ in Greek is a ‘τρεχούμενος λογαριασμός’, (see: http://www.wordreference.com/gren/τρεχούμενος λογαριασμός ). Since Babiniotis also appears to believe that ‘τρεχούμενος λογαριασμός’ is synonymous with ‘αλληλοχρέος λογαριασμός’, this is an alternative that you should also consider. However, I still agree with the Λεξικό Λογιστικής του Κων. Κάντζου that ‘αλληλοχρέος λογαριασμός’ is a ‘revolving account’.

Nadia-Anastasia Fahmi very kindly removed the final version of her neutral comment to my answer of “revolving account credit facility agreement” after I pointed out to her that I had already provided the alternative answer of “revolving credit agreement” the previous day, which I personally considered to be more succinct.
