A: I had the turkey club.
B: might I remind you that there is bacon on the turkey club.
A: And I asked for extra bacon on my turkey club.
B: Dad. Cholesterol.
A: Two pieces of bacon. It’s not going to kill me.
B: I’m sorry. How many pieces?
A: Six pieces.
B: That’s more like it.
A: The Chef told you how many pieces of bacon I had on my turkey club?
A: Yes.

La mia proposta:

A: ho preso un sandwich al tacchino.
B: Ti ricordo che nel sandwich al tacchino c’è la pancetta.
A: E io ho chiesto pancetta extra nel mio sandwich.
B: Papà. Il colesterolo.
A: Due fette di pancetta. Non mi uccideranno.
B: Scusa. Quante fette?
A: Sei fette.

direi solo così; il padre mente e dice che c'erano due fette, la figlia dubita della cosa (perché, come poi si capisce, ha chiesto allo chef) e poil padre dice la verità, che ce n'erano sei. La riposta della figlia: così va meglio (cioè, adesso hai detto la verita, la cosa mi corrisponde).
