Czech to English translations [PRO]

Czech term or phrase: sentnhut
From a Czech World War I soldier's journal: "Dne 15. máje jsme dostali kafe a opět jsme se připravovali k dalšímu marši. Naše kumpanie byla určená jako levý sentnhut."

This is from a printed source, so handwriting is not the issue. But perhaps it's still a typographical error? I can't find this word (or a similar one) anywhere. Any suggestions?
