Reference information:
"Monante" does not appear in the DRAE. I thought they might mean "montante"... Interestingly, my Biegbeder Atienza technical dictionary gives: "monante quicial", but a quick search reveals it's "showing results for "montante quicial" -
No results found for "monante quicial" . In the context of weirs, drains etc it's translated as "heelpost".
