Been looking at this for too long...

"inférieur" = date X must not be BEFORE or AFTER date Z?

The text I'm working on uses "inférieur", "supérieur", "anterieur", "posterieur", "avant", "apres"... and while the latter four are more than clear, of course, in those instances, in which "inferieur" and "supérieur" are used, the context does not allow to say without a doubt which would be correct...
