English term or phrase: To be upside down on your mortgage
Hello,

I'm looking for a French equivalent of the expression "to be upside down on your mortgage". I'm not sure this concept exists in France.
I don't really have any context to give, I'm translating a conversation between 2 people who exchange gossip about a neighbour who is "upside down on her mortgage".

Thanks for your help.
