German term or phrase: Obödienz/Obödienzen
Boa tarde, pessoal! Estou traduzindo um livro sobre os 500 anos da Reforma. O termo em questão aparece no segundo capítulo, que se ocupa da história da igreja católica. Pelo contexto, eu diria que Obödienzen poderia ser traduzido como "Ordens" ou algo similar -- já que está indicado entre parênteses, como um sinônimo de Gefolgschaften:

Die Folgen der Spaltung waren horrend, denn die ganze Christenheit brach in zwei einander bekämpfende Gefolgschaften (Obödienzen) auseinander.

No entanto, de acordo com as pesquisas que fiz até agora, Obödienzen se refeririam mais a bens do que a grupos. Alguém aí conheceria um termo que desse conta dessas duas acepções?

Wäre mein Vorschlag. Hierbei geht es nicht um Ordensgemeinschaften, der Unterschied geht tiefer.
