Medical - Medical (general)
Danish term or phrase: Abbreviations %I og % R
"Af intensivnotater fremgår det, at pt. er %I og %R, men også at han generelt har frasagt sig
behandling..."
The above is from the medical notes of a patient who was very ill, with multiple health problems, who did not want major life-prolonging measures.

Has anyone encountered these abbreviations before please?

Could they mean intervention and resuscitation, although no actual percentage is stated?

English translation:'Minus Intensive' and 'Minus Resuscitation'
Explanation:
https://pri.rn.dk/Sider/23154.aspx defines % R and % I as 'Minus Resuscitation (ingen genoplivning)' and 'Minus Intensive (Minus Intensiv)', respectively.
So in this case '%' means minus - a little unusual.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks for your suggestion Cetra. I honestly can't say, but I don't think so here. The paragraph in question discusses the option of dialysing the patient.
