Context: Die Notenausgabe der Adventsfantasie „Mentis“ erlaubt dank einer sehr durchdachten Verwendung von ****Stichnoten**** eine Aufführung mit nahezu jeder Besetzung.

In het Engels is dat "cue notes" en in het NL zou het iets met "tekens" moeten zijn, maar ik kan het helaas niet vinden.

Weet iemand een goede oplossing?

Stichnoten (cue notes) zijn kleine nootjes die laten zien wat een ander instrument speelt vlak voordat je moet invallen. De naam van dat instrument staat er dan meestal bij. Soms worden stichnoten ook gebruikt om de partij van een in het orkest ontbrekend instrument te noteren. Als er geen fagot is, kan de partij van dat instrument met stichnoten genoteerd worden in de partij van een instrument dat diezelfde noten ook kan spelen, zoals de baritonsax of de basklarinet. Soms wordt dat aangegeven met een tekst als Play if no bassoon (speel dit als er geen fagot is), of in het Frans: à défault basson.
