Это НЕ часть обсадной колонны. Речь идет о самой нижней части каротажного прибора, имеющей коническую форму. Правильнее, наверное, было бы называть его наконечником.

Asker: Standoff - это расстояние между прибором и стенкой скважины (есть на рис. по Вашей ссылке), а также устройство, которое задает это расстояние. Я думаю, что в моем случае хвостовик выполняет ту же функцию, что и башмак обсадной колонны.

Asker: Другой заказчик предложил "bottom cone", хотя однозначного подтверждения я не нашел.
