Hola a todos:
La traducción es sobre los controles de empaque y etiquetado de materiales impresos que se utilizan para identificar productos farmacéuticos y dice lo siguiente:

Packing materials can be printed or non-printed, printed packaging materials will be referred as “printed materials”.
Printed information on packaging materials is to be distinct, printed and applied so as to remain legible and affixed during the customary conditions of processing, storage, handling, and where appropriate, use.

Printed materials are designed to provide information relative to the handling, storage, traceability and usage of the product. Labeling materials can also be referred as “printed materials"

For manufacturing processes, upon receipt at the production line, packaging materials are to be examined for suitability and correctness in terms of quantity and identity before use. Labeling materials shall be dispensed in resistant containers/pallets including unopened bundles, boxes, rolls, etc.
No more than one lot/load number of finished product labeling shall be issued in a container.
A designated function shall be responsible for the control and issuance of specific one time use imprinting mats and plates.
Unless there is an alternative system to prevent the unintentional or unauthorized use of quarantined, rejected, returned, or recalled materials, separate storage areas should be assigned for their temporary storage until the decision as to their future use has been made.

  -> La lógica del contexto lo indica, no existe un precedente claro, la aclaratoria solo la puede dar la fuente, no hacen mención de estas palabras ni antes ni después por lo que presumo que se da por sentado que son las formas del etiquetado. Saludos

agree  Victoria Frazier: De acuerdo. la almohadilla muchas veces se utiliza para imprimir directo sobre el empaque, es decir, no es una etiqueta.
