How about "match-mades in heaven" and "perfect couples" or something using "glue" or "welding" if it is usable in English, as glue binding lovers something like that in order to avoid using magnet thing.

There's definitely something in what Turdimurod is saying. I've listened to the song again, and there's a line about "pluses" and "minuses" as an ideal union. But, even if I am right and it is this song, that is referenced, it will make no sense to an English speaking person. Therefore, I agree with Turdimurod - "magnetic lovers" can actually work in this case. Also, the phrase is widely used and will make sense when paired with "Romeos and Juliets".

In my understanding, just my opinion, here only addressing the ones as loving couple, pair of lovers / sweethearts-минусы-плюсы means only this here, Romeo and Juliet, the speaker is emphasizing by repetition. In other words, In Russian, we talk about the young man and woman who fell in love as minuses and pluses, as magnet attraction minus and plus referring to love. The speaker did not mean the song and other things. Just the speaker said about the pair of lovers.
And I would suggest "magnetic lovers",
or "passionate/impetuous lovers" or "Lovers from the Moon"

This is just a wild guess, but there's a song called "Минусы-плюсы" by a Russian rapper Dima Kartashov (you can listen to it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAaw5IShi5M ). The song, generally, is about love, about a boy and a girl, Romeo and Juliet so to speak. Maybe the passers-by where a young man and a young woman, that's why the author referenced the song? As I said, a wild guess.
