Buongiorno e ben ritrovati.

Secondo voi nell'espressione "sweetcorn swipe" che significato ha la parola "swipe"? Si tratta di pannocchie spennellate con diversi tipi di salse, ma dal momento che, una volta cucinate, vengono poi utilizzate per fare un gioco che consiste in una sfida che vede come vincitore colui che finisce per primo di mangiare la pannocchia, non riesco a capire se questo "swipe" si riferisca a una tecnica di preparazione oppure al gioco per cui verranno poi utilizzate le pannocchie.

Da una ricerca online, ho trovato che "swipe" può essere anche una variante di "sweep", sinonimo di "brush", e per questo a me è venuto in mente il termine "spennellare", ma non vorrei aver frainteso il suo significato.
