I am not quite sure what is meant by the above somewhat cryptic term.

Here is the context: "Eu égard aux 300 hectares de plantation des XXXX, et celle réalisée dans différents pays, notamment en Espagne, le potentiel annoncé pour XXX (agrume) devrait rapidement progresser. En 2004 il a été recensé 2300 ha pour le bassin méditerranéen. L'offre est de 10000 tonnes et le potentiel de 50000

I suppose that the "offre" refers to the actual "supply" as opposed to the potential yield?

But "Announced potential yield" does not sound right and does not bring up any google hits.

Perhaps there is a better translation for this term?
