| cet etilo constreñido (cEt) / etilo acotado Explanation: <To this end we designed and prepared novel nucleoside analogs 4 (S-constrained MOE, S-cMOE) and 5 (R-constrained MOE, R-cMOE) where the ethyl chain of the 2'O-MOE moiety is constrained back to the 4' position of the furanose ring. As part of the SAR series, we also prepared nucleoside analogs 7 (S-constrained ethyl, S-cEt) and 8 (R-constrained Ethyl, R-cEt) where the methoxymethyl group in the cMOE nucleosides was replaced with a methyl substituent> https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18776499 Los análogos cEt de nucleósidos hacen referencia a nucleósidos modificados, con la cadena de etilo constreñida a una posición determinada del anillo -en configuración R o S- y con sustitución del grupo metoximetilo por un grupo metil. Forman parte de lo que se conoce como locked nucleic acid nucleosides (nucleósidos de ácido nucleico constreñido/bloqueado). Al tratarse de productos novedosos y sujetos a patente, su uso y referencias en castellano son limitadas aún. Personalmente, traduciría aquí constrained (c) como constreñido, manteniendo el sentido original y facilitando la lectura del acrónimo: etilo constreñido (cEt) -aunque casi cualquier otra lectura (acotado, limitado, restringido...) podría servir, para hacer referencia a la posición fija de la cadena de etilo en el anillo del nucleósido. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 6 days (2017-10-04 00:49:06 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Ojo; S-etilo-constreñido (S-etilo-limitado) sería equivalente a S-cEt, en referencia a la configuración específica R/S.
