"On average, out of thousands of hours of preclinical instruction, doctors get about 24 hours of nutrition, with most only getting between 11 to 20."

Most USA college and university courses are 3 Credit Hours. Is there a set standard on how to translate credit hours to non-USA audiences? How would you translate the numbers and the hours to a non-USA audience? The fact is that doctors have about 8 nutrition courses at disposal. Translating "24 hours" literally into Serbian would make the audience think it means "24 courses"
