English to French translations [PRO] Law (general) / jugement dans un conflit
English term or phrase:in early course
Ordered that the case management of the inquiries the Court has ordered and may in the future order are delegated to the Master with a view to each inquiry being heard before the Court as currently constituted **in early course**.
I look forward to hearing from you in early course as to what other information… Je serai heureux d’avoir rapidement de vos nouvelles Je suis impatient de recevoir rapidement de vos nouvelles https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:XQkN0N...
@ AllegroTrans. I neither tried to nor intend to teach native Speakers their language. All I did was to quote what a trustworthy dictionary says about the synonyms in early Course and and in due Course as well as with regard to their French Counterpart en temps utile.
You miss the point. The point is that "in due course" is NOT a synonym of "in early course". Therefore, "en temps utile" cannot translate "in early course".
Pls. see the following link and many more similar ones in response to those who are doubtful about the correctness of my answer "en temps utile":French Translation of “in due course” | Collins English-French Dictionary https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english-french/... French Translation of “in due course” | The official Collins English-French Dictionary online. ... (in future time) en temps utile , en temps voulu.
there is NO equivalent in France. A Master is a type of Judge (or judicial officer) who sits in the English High Court on matters that are not heard by a higher Judge.
Master (judiciary) A Master is judicial officer found in the courts of England and in numerous other jurisdictions based on the common law tradition. A master's jurisdiction is generally confined to civil proceedings and is a subset of that of a judge. Master (judiciary) - Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_(judiciary)
They certainly are not synonyms. "In early course" is a dated expression which simply means "as soon as practicable/possible". I do not wish to sound arrogant, but this is a term which (elderly!) native British English speakers are far more likely to understand since the expression is seldom heard nowadays.
You realize that there is nothing "early" in the phrase "in due course", don't you? Therefore, "in due course" and "in early course" can hardly be synonyms.
in due course At the appropriate time. Synonyms at the appropriate time, when the time is ripe, in time, in due time, in the fullness of time, in the course of time, at a later time, at a later date, at length, at a future date, at a future time, at some point in the future, in the future, in time to come, as time goes by, as time goes on, by and by, one day, some day, sooner or later, in a while, after a bit, eventually https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/in_due_course

Explanation: This seems to be a corruption of "in due course".

If commas are added, then it might be easier to read:
" ... with a view to each inquiry being heard, before the Court as currently constituted, **in early course**."
A better sentence structure: ... with a view to each inquiry being heard soon before the Court as currently constituted.

By saying that it was a "corruption" of "in due course", I didn't mean that it was synonymous with it. This is a very odd expression that seems to me to have been made up by it's author. I think the meaning was not "in due course", but rather sooner than that might have implied.

Asker: désolé mais "bientôt" ne va pas du tout ici! Si vous lisez bien la phrase, il est indiqué "currently constituted" juste avant. Bientôt n'est donc pas possible, "actuellement constitué bientôt" ne va pas...
