Finnish to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Real Estate
Finnish term or phrase: osake (real estate)
From an inheritance division agreement:

"Pesän omaisuutena olleet [address] osakkeet 1-50, jotka oikeuttavat 5 h+k+p käsittävän huoneiston (85,5 m2) nro A 1, on myyty [date] allekirjoitetulla kauppahinnalla."

= "The former estate property, [address] [???] 1-50, which [???] apartment (85.5 m2) A1, comprising 5 [???], was sold on [date] at the signed price."

Several key pieces of this sentence are not clear to me:

osakkeet - I know that "osake" can mean "(unit of a) condominium", but that's what it means here, then I don't understand why it is in the plural, when "huoneisto nro A 1" seems to refer to a single flat/apartment.

oikeuttaa - "entitle (someone) to (property)"?

The meaning of the abbreviation "h+k+p" is also unclear to me, but I devoted a separate thread to it already.

share

Explanation:
osake in this context is a housing company share. Plural osakkeet because they number 1-50. These shares entitle the holder to a 5-room + kitchen + bathroom apartment unit measuring 85.5 sq. m. for the undersigned purchase price.
