It appears the family is talking about political situations in Africa. I am just not sure how to interpret and translate this term in this context.

Não faz ideia de quão feliz estou por saber de ti. É angustiante estar aqui sem notícias suas. Folgo em saber que está tudo bem ai. Nossas orações do dia dia alimentam nossa fé na regularização da tua situação. Deus tem nos ouvido e estará connosco em outubro.
