ögonmottagning vs. ögonoperation vs. oftalmologisk mottagning

As I understand it, "ögonmottagning" (the general eye clinic) could be the go-to place for patients getting together with optometrists for routine eye exams and possible prescriptions for glasses for near and/or distance vision, etc. The optometrist might also provide preliminary diagnoses for problems such as cataracts or glaucoma, whereas follow-up for those problems (not necessarily including surgery) might take place at the "oftalmologisk mottagning." Most hospitals are going to have different outpatient clinics, some have anterior eye, posterior eye, pediatric ophthalmology, etc. In this case, it sounds like they have split their case load into: Eye clinic, Eye surgery clinic, and Ophthalmology clinic. (While Eye surgery clinic is pretty clear e.g. pre- and post-surgical patients, which patients belong in the Eye clinic and which in the Ophthalmologic clinic is beyond me.)
