This word can be read in a technical data sheet for a floor cleaner: "Den Cleaner im Verhältnis 1:10 verdünnen und den bauschluss- oder grundgereinigten Belag mit dieser Lösung wischen." My translation, without the mentioned word: " Dilute the Cleaner in a Ratio of 1:10 and wipe over the ? or thorougly cleaned floor with the solution." Does anybody have an idea? Thank you for your help.

Explanation:
Following the references given by MReisinger & BVrooman as well as a quick search that the tidy term I thought of, "post-construction cleaning," resembles "Bauschlussreinigung," a possible translation of "den bauschluss- oder grundgereinigten Belag" is "the surface that has undergone post-construction or basic cleaning."

Just glad I could help. I have to admit that even as a native speaker of German, I sometimes get annoyed by these kinds of compound words. That's the German way of trying to be concise, I guess. It can sometimes cause severe headaches (I suppose you still remember the "Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz," ugh).

My suggestion: Don't look for an adjective, just translate it as "Belag, der einer Bauschlussreinigung unterzogen wurde." Most German compounds just can't be translated by having three adjectives/nouns "trail" each other. Doesn't work.

BTW, I don't agree with "cleared" in the suggested answer.

"Bauabschlussreinigungen sind Reinigungen, die bis zum Bezug eines Neubaus oder nach Beendigung einer Baumaßnahme durchgeführt werden."

Please note: "nach Beendigung einer Baumaßnahme" could mean refurbishing/renovation or simply extension (and there's also the matter of "Feinreinigung.")
