Another problem with Greek abbreviations is that not infrequently they contain typos, which makes it quite hopeless.

I’m so envious now! I miss doing the cryptic puzzles—always so refreshing.
In fact, to come back to our muttons, Greek abbreviations must be the worst documented set of abbreviations in any of the European languages.

I solve Greek crossword puzzles every morning with my breakfast cup of tea. It helps wake my brain up :-) I also do the "cryptic" English ones in the Guardian and elsewhere. But stick something like ONB in the middle of a sentence and I grind to a halt. Sometimes I can find them with a web search, or even on ProZ, despite the downgrading of the term search. Other times I have to come here cap in hand and throw myself on the mercy of you kind folks.

I guess ΜΟ could stand for Μυελού Οστών, bone marrow i.

ΠΑ must be Περιφερικού Αίματος - Peripheral Blood immunophenotype, but that's the easy one. :)
