estoy traduciendo un contrato y me aparece la siguiente definición:

“Listing” means a listing on any investment market exchange of all or any part of the share capital of, or any other sale or issue by way of flotation or public offering or any equivalent circumstances in relation to any member of the Group in any jurisdiction or country or any other sale or issue by way of listing, floatation or public offering or any equivalent circumstances in relation to any member of the Group.

Entiendo que listing es cotización en bolsa y floatation salida a bolsa, pero no estoy segura de la diferencia. ¿Alguien me puede echar una mano?
