Portuguese term or phrase: me vinha de algum lugar um pouco do conteúdo
Text:

The word order in the phrase throws me off a bit. It has been think literally "I was coming from somewhere a bit of content" which doesn't sound legit whatsover.

Some of the contents of this book started to appear to me from somewhere

Explanation:
There is a tradition in Brazilian spiritual writing of books that are "channeled" through the author by a spirit from another level, and the book you are translating may come from this tradition. In other words, the content "appears" to the author, almost from out of the blue. The following sentences also seem to support this: the ideas appear at first as "vaguely defined blocks" which come into sharper focus as they are examined more closely.

It would come to me from somewhere a little be of the content...

Explanation:
The content will suddenly materialized and it gives an assumption that it was just a remembrance of long lost moments. Something like that.
