C'est un texte qui a déjà été traduit du chinois vers l'anglais, donc le client m'a dit qu'il se pouvait que la qualité ne soit pas excellente.

Le texte source est en chinois puis traduit vers l'anglais...je n'ai rien d'autre

Votre lecture de l'art. 2 est tout à fait possible, mais comme l'écrivent B D Finch et AllegroTrans, the English is a bit dodgy/not well written... En fait, l'art. 2 ne me semble pas écrit comme une déf. habituelle.<p>E A Traduction, s'agit-il du texte source orig. de l'art. 2 ?

It would help if you used quotation marks and made explicit what your source text is. Is all of the text in English quoted directly from your source document? If so, it is as well to be aware that it is not very well-written; e.g. it is incorrect to write that A entrusts B to provide XYZ. The correct form is that A entrusts B with the provision of XYZ. In other words, "to entrust" takes the preposition "with" and requires a noun predicate, not a verb.

Is the French sentence your provisional translation? If so, it looks fine to me.
