(…) Treba na kraju napomenuti i da su sve prethodne „reforme“ bile povezane sa neophodnim planovima privatizacija javnih preduzeća za energiju i telekomunikacije. A da ne zaboravimo: gospođa Lagard, pre nego što je postala ministarka finansija Francuske, bila je predsednik advokatske kancelarije Baker & McKenzie. Ta kancelarija, ako je istina ono što čujemo, treba da preuzme, ako već nije preuzela, poslove rukovođenja privatizacijom grčke industrije nafte (ELPE). Pitao sam o tome g. Venizelosa prilikom jednog predizbornog intervjua, i nije demantovao tu informaciju, ali je nije ni potvrdio. Posle izjava direktorke MMF, međutim, postaje očito da njena stara kompanija, s kojom, metodom „rotacionih vrata“ smenjivanja javnih i privatnih pozicija, održava odlične veze, ne treba da preuzima poslove u Grčkoj.
