If it is ambient, ie. gentle discreet background lighting, then ambient (not ambience) lighting is the more common term, though thanks to the others for making me think of this.

However, I would double check from your context that it doesn't mean something else. In the following German refs, it would seem to suggest more "special effect lighting" or better "special lighting effects":
