I think "bucolic" is not a good idea here as you have "bucolic" in the sentence just above. That said, "bucolic picnic" is probably better rendered as "picnic in the country(side)", which would leave "bucolic" up for grabs later. The only thing is "bucolic" is used more ordinarily in French than in Englihs. Without seeking to dumb this down, "bucolic" has more literary overtones in English.

"Champêtre" conjures up images of something "rustic" in English, but I like the idea of "outdoor" for "champêtre" which has been suggested. You could then use "country(side)" for the picnic and your text will avoid anything bucolic and be more authentic for a UK reader, I'm sure.

The document gives descriptions of group tours available in the region. However this tour doesn't mention music anywhere else at all, I think it's just given as an example of other things that are available. Here's the whole paragraph for more context:

I might have a few thoughts (the pastoral symphony springs to mind), but as other posters have said, we need more context. I suggest you ask the client exactly what is involved in this particular tour and go from there.

The producer of this tourist brochure must have had soemthing specific in mind, otherwise they wouldn't have linked 'musical' and 'champêtre' — if you can't work it out from the rest of your document, then you'll have to ask them what it's all about.
What exactly is the document about, overall, and what is it promoting?

I'm afraid there isn't much context linked to music. It relates to guided tours (of a canal) available to tourists, as well as potential add-ons (e.g. eating in a nice restaurant) to these tours

What is this "moment musical et champêtre"? Is this about anything specific such as an outdoor concert, or is the writer waxing lyrical about something quite different?
