En este caso creo que más que centrarte en el término "lead" es más adecuada una traducción del conjunto. Pienso que no es necesario complicarse mucho para expresar lo que quiere decir el original. En cuanto a "clientes" o "consumidores", eso ya depende del sector específico al que vaya dirigido el texto. Si es un texto general, que puede valer para diversos sectores, entonces "clientes" sería mi opción
