French term or phrase: de nos côtes
Hello,

This is on a menu "Soupe de poisson de nos côtes"

"Soup with fish caught on/off our shores/on local shores" sounds too clunky
Your suggestions are most welcome!

neutral  Tony M: Possibly; BUT it all depends on WHERE the restaurant is located; sometimes 'nos' can just mean 'French fishing fleet', or 'the coast of France' — but 'locally caught' would be a bit silly if this was right in the centre of the country!

neutral  B D Finch: Sea fish, rather than river fish. Also, note Tony's comment re "local".
