agree  El oso: The Asker just needs to replace Веревьюнчик with an affectionate name an English speaker would use in a similar situation. (Sweetie, Sweetie Pie, Sweetheart, Honey, Sugar, etc)

Explanation:
Well, a mistress surely has her man wound around her finger. "My mistress dear" is also a bit over the top, somewhat mocking at that.

Planets orbit around the sun, stars orbit the centers of galaxies,..., and the guy orbits around his lady - the ultimate in having someone wound around her finger.
