English term or phrase: chef restaurant
Grazie

agree  Gaetano Silvestri Campagnano: "Di alto livello" anche :-)

  -> anche - grazie, Gaetano! :-)

agree  Vojislava Jankovic (X): prestigioso, di alto livello (as GSC)

  -> grazie, Vojislava! :-)

neutral  writeaway: in a back-translation, this would become a 5-star restaurant. /5-star restaurant is an expression. not an official categorisation.

  -> I retract my comment about (Michelin) stars: I checked and saw that in IT, too, the expression "a 5 stelle" is used meaning "top/super/etc." - ok, that is the point in the end: a chef works in a "superior" restaurant, you an call it many names.

Ristorante di un celebre/noto chef

Explanation:

neutral  writeaway: more or less the same as LisaJane's suggestion, no? /agree. that's why I said more or less. but there is no way to know without specific context. it's not an everyday term
17 mins
