Comment comprenez-vous le "charged" ici ?

Devices such as tablets and their associated apps enable the customer service that consumers expect and retailers strive for. Retailers need to ensure that they deploy technology in the most appropriate way to enhance that customer journey, assist their own staff ’s productivity and provide the maximum retur on investment. This means taking care of the security of the technology and ensuring that it is charged, available and practical to use, day in, day out.

Merci.

Explanation:
Quite simply that the batteries are kept charged at all times so it is ready for use.
Nothing is so unprofessional as to have the batteries die on your just as you are showing soemthing to a customer or processing their order.

Explanation:

technologie Dock&Charge

"Once returned to its dock, the device is automatically charged, as is any peripheral, such as a payment terminal. It is truly a multi-role enabler."

Explanation:

neutral  Tony M: Everything depends on how Asker chooses to translate 'the technology', but if in doubt, it is usual practice to give the uninflected form.
