French term or phrase: Conf/conj? col
This is taken from a medical examination of a lady during pregnancy. It is handwritten and appears twice. In one instance the first word looks like "conj" and in the second it looks more like "conf". It appears as follows:

A l'examen du jour, BEG, conf col, seins anodulaires TA 9/6...

A l'examen du jour: BEG, conj col, oed -, col postérieur, fermé.

Explanation:
I suspect that it isn't "conf" or "conj", but "cont", as an abbreviation of "contrôle".

Re Asker's note. That additional information does make "contrôle" unlikely, as does the fact it is usually abbreviated as "ctrl". The best people to provide an answer are those used to deciphering doctors' handwriting.

Might it be a "g"? If so, I'd suggest congestion of the cervix (congestion du col de l'utérus).

Notes to answerer
Asker: My doubts come from the fact that the final letter most definitely falls below the line, and has a definite backwards "loop" as in the j or curly f. The two occurrences are in different handwriting, and when comparing the other "t"s, not one of them looks like this final letter.

Asker: i.e. even if writing in a hurry or shorthand, it would be very hard to make a t look like this letter
